A Culture Companion will accompany you to events
Culture Companions help Helsinki residents for whom the threshold of going to a cultural event is high, who do not want to go alone or who find it difficult. A volunteer Culture Companion will accompany you to the event, book the tickets and, if necessary, assist you or guide you to the venue.
In the company of a Culture Companion, you will pay an average of 5 euros for your ticket. You can go to free events free of charge. The company and guidance provided by the Culture Companion is free of charge. The activities are intended for people over the age of 18.
HelsinkiMissio implements the Culture Companion activities in cooperation with the City of Helsinki and cultural operators.
What to do:
- Choose a cultural attraction below.
- Fill in the Culture Companion application form at helsinkimissio.fi/culturecompanion. You can also call 09 2312 0375 (callback service) or send an email to kulttuurikaveri@helsinkimissio.fi.
- Give us your contact information as well as your desired cultural attraction, date and time. We can also consider a suitable event together.
- A Culture Companion will book the ticket and call you. Agree on where and when to meet.
- Enjoy your shared cultural experience!
